The Tattoo industry has always been misunderstood. Tales of rogues and rascals running amok. A perception of dark and dingy places of business where only the brave or bad would venture....

In reality, it is an industry that has an unrivalled & rich history encompassing 12,000 years.

From ancient egyptians to the great discoverers, from dockyard workers to doctors, paupers to presidents, the art of ink (and it is an art) has transcended time and overcome controversy, developing into the socially acceptable and ultimate form of self-expression it is today.

In 2014 we had an idea. Something a little bit crazy. Something a little bit different. Something to challenge thinking and perception. Something so new it was initially mocked....... until the penny dropped.

From there, a group of visionaries including artists, entrepreneurs, brand-builders, investors and business leaders got together to create something so unique that it had never been done before.

We created a place of dreams.

Designed specifically to embrace the client and nurture the artists, our studios are state-of-the-art places of pleasure situated in easy-to-reach first-class shopping destinations.

Inspired by victorian architectural features and fused with gothic modernism, Freestylr studios do one thing only and we do it well - bringing art to life on the canvas of your body.

With a solid programme of studio growth encompassing 50 sites across Australia whilst simultaneously opening studios in New Zealand, Europe and the US, we aim to provide a united brand experience to anybody seeking to express themselves through ink.
