Frequently Asked Questions
Do you require an appointment?
While our artists would love to be able to accommodate to walk-in clientele, the artists are generally booked at least 2-3 weeks in advance. It is best to call to book an appointment to assure your time for tattoos.
Body Piercings are always available by walk-in availability during business hours.
Can I schedule my appointment online?
We do not do any online scheduling to avoid any confusion with bookings. Most times a tattoo will not require a consultation (design depending) and can be easily booked over the phone or in studio.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, and major credit cards as payment. No checks.
What are your hours of operation?
The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10am until 8pm, with appointments available after hours or on weekends, artist depending.
What is the average cost of a tattoo?
All tattoos are dependent on the time it takes for the artist to complete the piece. Our minimum for tattoos is $70 which includes all aftercare and touch ups on that piece for the lifetime of the artist. From there the cost is based around $100 an hour. For a better idea on a price quote, please call or stop into the studio to schedule a consultation.
How much are consultations?
Consultations are no charge for every artist. While some designs that require a lot of drawing may require a deposit to start the sketch.
How much is it for piercings?
We have a $30 piercing fee which includes up to three piercings on the same person in the same sitting. From there you add the cost of jewelry selected. All jewelry used for initial piercings are made of implant-grade materials, is nickel-free, internally threaded or threadless in design, and comes with a lifetime guarantee of all manufacturer defects.
How much is the jewelry?
Jewelry cost can vary greatly depending upon what is selected. Many pieces start around $15-25 each depending upon the style required for the area being pierced.
Can I bring my own jewelry for a piercing?
No. For health and safety reasons we do not allow for piercings to be started with jewelry that was purchased from outside of the studio. All jewelry we carry is backed with Mill Certificates that guarantee it to be made of implant-grade materials and suited for initial piercing.
Do you pierce or tattoo those under the age of 18?
Yes! We require those under the age of 18 to have a parent or legal guardian present at the time of the procedure. They must also have a valid photo ID of both parent/legal guardian and of the minor, as well as the minors birth certificate (in the case of a legal guardian, notarized guardianship papers from the court is required as well).
Certain age restrictions apply depending upon the procedure requested. We tattoo those aged 16 or older with consent and proper paperwork. For Body piercing we also require paperwork and parental consent, age restrictions vary depending upon the placement of the piercing. Please call for age restrictions on minors.
Can I bring a friend with me for my appointment?
Yes, everyone is welcome to have a guest at the time of their appointments so long as they are over the age of 18. We request to keep guests limited to 1-2 per person to avoid overcrowding the procedure area.
Can I bring my child with me?
No one under the age of 18 is allowed into the procedure rooms without a parent or legal guardian present (someone other than the person getting a tattoo or piercing). No one under the age of 5 is permitted in the studio at any time.
How do I care for my new body art?
Before leaving everyone is given specific instructions on how to care for their new tattoo or piercing. The artists take the time to go over any kind of issues that may arise during healing including how to care for your new body art according to your lifestyle (work, exercise, etc). Everyone leaves with detailed instructions and how to care for your new piece and what to care for it with. Tattoo clients are supplied all aftercare as needed, while piercing aftercare is available for purchase.
